Frequently Asked Questions

How do I add an odometer reading?

Tap the green "+" button on the main dashboard, enter your current odometer reading using the number pad, and tap "Save Reading."

What does "miles ahead" or "miles behind" mean?

OnPace calculates your ideal daily mileage based on your lease terms. "Miles ahead" means you've driven less than your daily allowance—you have room to spare. "Miles behind" means you're on pace to exceed your lease allowance.

How do I edit my lease details?

Tap the gear icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard to open Settings. From there you can edit your vehicle name, lease dates, annual allowance, and overage rate.

Can I track multiple vehicles?

Currently OnPace Lease supports one vehicle at a time. Multi-vehicle support is planned for a future update.

How do I enable iCloud sync?

During initial setup, you'll be asked to choose between local storage and iCloud sync. You can also change this later in Settings under "Data Storage."

Managing Your Subscription

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Subscriptions
  4. Select OnPace Lease
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Will I lose my data if I cancel?

No. Your odometer readings and lease data remain on your device. You just won't be able to add new readings until you resubscribe.

Troubleshooting

The widget isn't updating

iOS widgets update periodically (approximately every 30 minutes). Try removing and re-adding the widget, or restart your device. Make sure you've added at least one odometer reading.

My data isn't syncing between devices

Ensure iCloud sync is enabled in Settings on both devices, and that both devices are signed in to the same iCloud account. Check that iCloud Drive is enabled in your device's Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud.

I entered the wrong starting odometer

Go to Settings and tap "Edit Starting Odometer" to correct it. This will recalculate all your pace metrics.
